Hear this, people!  Hear what Jesus says:

“Whoever wants to be my disciple

Must deny themselves

And take up their cross and follow me.”

Jesus' Parables จำนวนเนื้อหา:  11

When God came down here on earth and named Himself "Jesus," He dwelt with men and lived a humble life. In our generation of this age world, if given the free choice to pick any profession, everyone will pick the highest and most pompous profession with big salaries. However, after God stooped down from heaven and became a man, Jesus, took the profession of a carpenter and did not attend the school of humans (any college or big university). The Pharisees even asked Jesus, as He has not gone to any school, how come He knows so much? They asked because these unbelievers claimed to be scholarly and the knowledgeable elite groups of society during their time, did not believe in Jesus as the God of this world. But know this person, God, the Creator of all things, who has His language, became a man and underwent through the various stages of human development. Humans, therefore, have no slight excuse to say or even accuse God, that God does not understand how humans grow, think, and behave. God, Jesus our Christ, by humbling Himself (when He is not supposed to), rather chose to learn the language of all men.

What are the parables?  Who spoke in parables?

Hear this people:

Jesus told many things in parables. His disciples asked Him, “Why do you speak to the people in parables?”

Jesus replied,

 “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.  Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance.  Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.  This is why I speak to them in parables:

‘Though seeing, they do not see;

Though hearing,

They do not hear or understand.

In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:

You will be ever hearing

but never perceiving;

For this people’s hearts have become calloused;

They hardly hear with their ears,

And they have closed their eyes.

Otherwise, they might see with their eyes,

Hear with their ears,

Understand with their hearts and turn,

And I would heal them.’

But blessed are your eyes

Because they see,

And your ears because they hear.

For truly I tell you,

Many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see

But did not see it,

And to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
