The conviction that probation remains open reflects the biblical understanding that the present age is a divinely appointed season of grace. God continues to call humanity to repentance, renewal, and reconciliation with Himself. Yet Scripture also teaches that this season of mercy is not indefinite. The opportunity to respond to God's invitation is real, but it is also limited.
