The book of Revelation was written by John, one of the twelve disciples of Jesus. He was the youngest among them and, in time, became the last living disciple. Many Christians, and even anthropologists, have searched the island of Patmos, hoping to find evidence of his death by locating his bones. Yet none were ever discovered.

As previously explained, the vision given to John in Revelation 12 was a prophetic revelation—a glimpse into future realities, not events that occurred during his lifetime. Though this vision has already been fulfilled, its relevance remains profound today because it speaks directly to the spiritual and geopolitical forces shaping our modern world. By studying this prophecy, we begin to see that God’s revelations are never random.
